Dr. Shane Andrews received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brigham Young University in 2005 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in 2009.  Dr. Andrews commissioned in the US Army as a Veterinary Corps Officer after graduation and served in numerous locations including Japan (Tokyo, Okinawa), Colorado, and Germany.  During his time in the military, he served in a variety of assignments caring for Military Working Dogs and service member’s pets. Dr. Andrews completed a Small Animal Surgical Residency at Michigan State University in 2017 and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Dr. Andrews is excited to provide advanced surgical services (orthopedics, soft tissue, neurologic) as well as minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopy, arthroscopy, thoracoscopy) to the greater southern Utah area.  He loves teaching, training, and mentoring students, technicians, and clinicians alike.

Dr. Andrews and his wife Amy have 4 children (Jayden, Tia, Jett, Niko).  He is an avid cyclist and enjoys skiing, running, and hiking.
